Amidst the display of artwrok by our local schools and art groups, Caroline Metcalfe will outline the life and work of Beatrix Potter, a talented artist, storyteller and later, a conservationist. Through her own works, Beatrix broke away from a restrictive upbringing, to live in and help preservice her beloved Lake District.
