Rochester Coach Trip 2026

Historic Rochester is a city rich in heritage, known for its Norman castle, Rochester Cathedral (the second oldest cathedral in England), and centuries of fascinating history. The city was a major inspiration for novelist Charles Dickens, whose childhood in Medway influenced many of his works, with several local landmarks featured in stories such as Great Expectations. Visitors can also enjoy the 6-mile Rochester Greenspaces Trail, explore the charming High Street with its independent shops, cafés and restaurants, and experience the city's annual festivals and events.
